Mikrohuset ligger i fredfylte og naturskjønne omgivelser i Solbakken- tunet på Os.
Fremfor huset ligger Galleri Solbakkestova med sin tilhørende skulpturhage som alltid er åpen for allmenheten.
Rundt huset beiter geiter, og man har utsikt over en liten fredfylt Bigård, noen frittgående høns, og noen alpakkaer på den andre siden av veien.
Huset har terrasser på begge sider, hvor det er herlig å sitte å ta inn omgivelsene og kjenne på roen.
Det er også flotte turstier like ved.

Stedet

Mikrohuset ligger landlig til, men er likevel bare 3 km unna Osøyro sentrum, og 30 km unna Bergen by.
Gang og sykkelvei går forbi, og turløype opp på fjellet starter 100 meter unna boligen.
Det er kort vei til buss, butikk, en rekke turløyper, kystlinjen og sentrum med butikker, restauranter og barer.

Mikrohuset ble ferdigstilt august 2021.
Arkitekten bak Mikrohuset er Oddvar Lyssand.
Selve bygget er satt opp og utsmykket av kunstneren Arne Mæland.

The place

About this place

The micro house is located in peaceful and scenic surroundings in Solbakkentunet on Os.
In front of the house is Galleri Solbakkestova with its associated sculpture garden, which is always open to the public.
Goats graze around the house, and you have a view of a small peaceful apiary, some free-range chickens, and some alpacas on the other side of the road.
The house has terraces on both sides, where it is wonderful to sit and take in the surroundings and feel the peace.
There are also great hiking trails nearby.

The micro house is located in the countryside, but is still only 3 km from the center of Osøyro, and 30 km from the city of Bergen.
A footpath and cycle path pass by, and a hiking trail up the mountain starts 100 meters from the house.
It is a short distance to the bus, shop, a number of hiking trails, the coastline and the center with shops, restaurants and bars.

The micro house was completed in August 2021.
The architect behind Mikrohuset is Oddvar Lyssand.
The building itself has been set up and decorated by the artist Arne Mæland.
